For those of you who don’t know, I am executive editor of The Heartland Institute, a pro-liberty, free-market think tank. Heartland covers numerous issues, both at the state and national level (not so much on the international front), but the one it is best-known for is global warming. Heartland is probably the world’s leading think tank for climate skeptism. Perhaps strangely, global warming is not an issue I typically deal with. It’s not my speciality by any stretch of the imagination, and I rarely, if ever, write about it. I like to leave science to the scientists, and I’m not a hard sciences person. However, I, and hopefully many of you, would like to learn more about the issue, and a recent debate that was held at Heartland’s Andrew Breitbart Freedom Center provides an absolutely excellent example of what the climate change debate should look like.
I know it’s a bit long, but if you have the time, please check it out. It’s well worth watching. Truly one of the best debates I’ve seen on this!
